So my cunning plan was to borrow a club boat; it makes the difference sometimes between being able to attend and not. On this occasion I had a yellow North Shore Atlantic. This might be an important point, it wasn’t an Atlantic LV. I felt a little wibbly-wobby all evening.
I really enjoyed this paddle. Had to stop at Mount Edgecombe and readjust my footpegs (I think this is going to be a recurring theme). The weather / sea state was very gentle. We went via the little gap at Drakes Island which was just full enough of water and came back via the Hoe.
