I’m using barrier
to share my mouse between my laptop and desktop. They are both now running Debian Bookworm, and it means when I have a slow job running on one machine (as I write this I’m trying to compute a huge distance matrix of phonetic matches to car models in the MOT database).
Key things to note are that I had to manually configure the client to look for the server (uncheck a box and enter the client name) and on the server, I had to make sure I had a tile showing with the same name as the client computer. Also, for reasons I don’t understand, it didn’t create the TLS certificates.
Use the share button below if you liked it.
It makes me smile, when I see it.
